Job Name: Service Engineer
Eligibility Criteria: Male
Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation & Control
Experience: 1 to 3 years in a Engineering company dealing in Instrumentation / HVAC products / Industrial Burners / Boilers, working in similar function OR Fresh Candidates can be considered if found willing to trains themselves and work in Service Department
Skill Set Required
- Should be good in Spoken & Written English, Spoken Hindi
- Should be able to work efficiently on MS Office Programmes like Word, Excel and Outlook at a reasonably good speed
- Need to have good understanding of Basics concepts in Physics, Electronics, Sensors and Measurement, Control Systems and Engineering Drawing
- Should be fast in grasping Technical knowledge imparted during the training period.
- Should be able to drive a 2 wheeler and candidate with own vehicle will be preferred.
- Should be ready to travel extensively all over India and abroad.
- Able to work is Industrial Environment which will involve physical handling of the Equipment to be installed / commissioned
- Should be ready to work on Project Sites continiously for time periods upto 1 month
- Candidates preferred with permanent address in or around Mumbai and Pune
Job Responsibilities
- Visiting Site for installation, commissioning, site supervision and technical discussions with customers
- Understanding customer's technical requirements and selecting a Product or Service suitable for that customer
- Need to provide technical support to customer over phone, email, WhatsApp, Skype and on site for all Products supplied by IAPL without any time restrictions
- Testing of IAPL manufactured / Supplied products and making the material Test and Inspection reports
- Increase the sales of Spares, AMCs
- Preparing cost estimates for Spares, Services, AMCs, Control Panels and Projects
- Making Proposals, Negotiating Orders and Order Processing through ERP system
- Co-ordination with Customer as well as the internal departments in execution of work
- Payment recovery for Spares, Service and Project Orders.
- Facilitating various Processes like Drawing Approvals, Order amendments, Inspection, Despatch clearances and other co-ordination work post Sales
- Attending customer issues or grievances related to the execution of Service or Project Orders
- Technical support to all internal departments on all the Products
- Handling Customer inspection or Third party inspection
- Technical GRN of Incoming material
- Repairing of Products
- Design of Control Panel including Circuit Diagram, making BOM and Drawings
- Making Cable Schedule and Cable Selection for Control Panels
- Upkeeping and Maintaining of IAPL Test Lab and DEMO setups and arrange annual calibration of all internal meters and measurement devices
- On site or factory Configuration and Programming of Controllers, Safety Systems, Actuators and Electronic Volume converters
